Smart Designs

Beautifully designed modern kitchen

Welcome, Jamie & Justin.
Let's design something that actually means something.

Thank you for the conversation. I'm genuinely excited by what we discussed. The kitchen, the basement, the floors, the bath. There's a lot of potential here, and I can't wait to see the spaces for myself. This is where the process starts.

I'm Brigitte Maddox, a freelance interior designer based in Atlanta, working under Maddox Designs and Interiors. My approach sits at the intersection of art, technical precision, and lived experience. I don't do cookie cutter. Every project is built from scratch around the people who will actually live in it.

I work with CAD documentation, photorealistic 3D visualization, and smart home integration. These are the tools that give you a precise, immersive picture of your space before a single decision is locked in. My role right now is to get the vision documented so clearly that when it's time to build, everyone is working from the same page.

Brigitte Maddox, Maddox Designs and Interiors

Kitchen

Vision documentation including layout options, storage solutions, material palette, and fixture selections designed around how your family actually cooks and lives

Basement

Vision documentation covering zoning concepts for media, play, and flex use, with material and lighting direction that gives each area its own identity

Full Home Flooring

Vision documentation for material specification, pattern layout, and transition detailing mapped across every level of the home

Ensuite Bathroom

Vision documentation encompassing tile design, fixture curation, lighting layers, and finish coordination captured in detail

From concept sketch to photorealistic render.

Every project starts as a spatial study. I build the concept in 3D, then push it to photorealistic quality so you can see exactly what the finished space will feel like. Here is a sample of that process.

Three clear phases from first look to documented vision.

01

Document Your Spaces

Walk each room with your phone. Kitchen, basement, bathroom, floors. Narrate as you go. Tell me what's working, what isn't, and what you've been imagining. This footage becomes the foundation for the design vision. The more honest the walkthrough, the more precise the direction.

02

On-Site Consultation

After reviewing your video, I'll come to you for a complimentary in-person visit, a courtesy extended through Warren's introduction. I'll take my own measurements, read the light, and study the proportions. This visit is about understanding the spaces firsthand so the design vision is grounded in reality, not assumptions.

03

Agreement & Design Kickoff

Once we've aligned on direction, I'll send a clean design agreement and retainer. When that's confirmed, your private client portal activates and the vision documentation begins. Mood boards, spatial layouts, material palettes, 3D renders, and finish schedules, all organized in one place. This is where your project takes shape on paper.

Your project, fully documented and always accessible.

Once the project is active, you receive a private link to your dedicated client portal. Every render, finish schedule, and design decision lives there. Organized, downloadable, and visible to you at every stage of the process.

Zoom Sessions

Scheduled video check ins to walk through the vision, review selections, and keep the design conversation moving

📱

Always On

Access your portal from any device. Phone, tablet, or desktop. On your schedule, not mine

Smart Home Integration

Smart home technology is something I actively design around, not as an afterthought, but as a layer of the space itself. Lighting scenes, climate automation, integrated audio, connected systems. If this is a direction you want to explore, it can be scoped as a dedicated add on to your project.

I'm Interested

"Good design is never accidental. It's the result of intention at every layer."

Jamie & Justin, I'm genuinely looking forward to this. Right now, the goal is simple. Get the vision documented. Every material, every layout decision, every finish selection, captured clearly so that when you're ready to build, the roadmap is already there. When you're ready, send that video and we'll start shaping the vision together.
